Mini White Pocket, Hole In The Rock Arch and White Pocket, Vermilion Cliffs NM, AZ

In march, 2016, we showed some good friends a nice round trip from House Rock Valley Road to Big Sink and from Big Sink to an area called Mini White Pocket (we called it earlier “Scrambled Rocks”). From Mini White Pocket, we went to Hole In The Rock Arch and had lunch there. From Hole In The Rock Arch, we drove towards White Pocket. Along this connecting road is also a knoll, called Pottery Knoll. We had a short stop there and hiked around a little bit, but did not see a lot of pottery. Further along that road, we tried to spot the “Tall Man” petroglyph. But for some reason, we did not find it. After a short distance, we arrived at White Pocket. After having an extensive photo session at White Pocket, we went back to House Rock Valley Road via Poverty Flat.

Close to the turn off to White Pocket. But we continued straight, to drive to Big Sink Valley.

After some time, we arrived in Big Sink Valley. The trail to the right leads to the connecting trail from Pine Tree Road to Mexican Sink. The trail to the left leads up to Big Sink Ranch and the road, which goes straight, is going to the upper route.

We went up to the ranch (be careful, this is very steep and very sandy) and went straight through to follow a seldom travel route.
After a short distance, we stopped and explored an area, which is located on the right side.
It looked pretty interesing from below...
